About Me

Hello! I'm so glad you found my page. I'm Becky, and I hope you'll feel comfortable calling me that, too. For over 20 years, my family and I have called the Capital District of Upstate New York home. As a proud resident of Greenfield, NY, I am passionate about advocating for better mental health access in our rural communities. I look forward to serving my neighbors in Saratoga County as a future PMHNP. My practice is grounded in integrity, honesty, and compassion. I aim to offer transparent insight into my practice and the essential mental health services PMHNPs deliver.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, expected to graduate in December 2025, following a rigorous two-year program. My decision to become a PMHNP is deeply personal and professionally necessary. Having been in school for a total of 15-years, I am driven by a commitment to my family and a dedication to addressing the urgent mental health crisis in New York State due to the critical lack of services. This background instills in me a strong sense of urgency and advocacy for accessible care.

In my clinical approach, I prioritize qualities essential for therapeutic alliance, specifically demonstrating patience, kindness, and empathy. I am dedicated to maintaining a non-judgmental and safe space for all patients, ensuring their voices are heard and respected throughout their journey to well-being.

My practice philosophy is rooted in compassionate, evidence-based care, with a commitment to holistic treatment across the lifespan. I aim to integrate advanced psychopharmacological knowledge with a foundation in therapeutic modalities to create personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans.

My Story: Resilience and Commitment to Mental Health

I believe in complete transparency, which is why I want to briefly address outdated public records concerning an arrest in April of this year (2025).

I am pleased to confirm that all charges related to this matter have been officially dismissed. The court has ordered that the record pertaining to this issue be sealed next month under New York State law.

These charges originated from a deeply painful intra-family matter that became a misguided legal action. The situation was further compounded because I was never properly served the initial summonses, and a warrant was issued for failure to appear entirely without my knowledge. The subsequent investigation confirmed the allegations were entirely unfounded, which led directly to the court's definitive dismissal of the case.

I am relieved to have this legal resolution. This personal experience, while difficult, has only deepened my commitment to serving patients and families facing mental health challenges and has reinforced my dedication to patient advocacy. I am now focused entirely on graduating and beginning my dedicated career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
